-I am a rural photographer.
Today there are so many talented photographers and each have a style of their own. I want to make sure my rural style of photography is the right fit for you, my clients.
Rural photography can mean different things to different people. Rural photography for me describes growing up on a farm and having country-side settings everywhere around you. From poses with your favorite pets, livestock, FFA animals, your favorite spot by the river, old buildings on farms or in a town you love, wooded areas especially in the fall, small town parks the list goes on and on.
I want to know if you have a place that are important to you. I enjoy finding new locations. I enjoyed being able to take some senior photos in Dubuque this past summer. They have beautiful murals all over town and some amazing spots right by the river.
I have been lucky enough to be involved in photography for more than 10 years. I did take a short break the last few years and only booked a couple sessions throughout the year but I am excited to be jumping back into photography full time. I am taking the time to try and do things a little different this time around. Starting with taking time to remodel my studio, myself. (plus help from my husband) I want to offer a rustic and unique indoor studio to my clients.
-I am also an Artist.
I have a collection of prints available online through @Society6. I rotate the available prints every few months so remember to check and see what is available. You can also always reach out directly to me about a print you are interested in.
I have a small line of handmade crafts that I will be launching in addition to my farm prints. These handmade crafts have a special meaning to me and I am excited to share. In addition to the new line of crafts, I have started working on custom wood photo gifts. More details to come on all of these exiting new items.
